A guide who is really a concierge
Most tour guides walk you along a fixed route and leave you at the gate. Ours work differently. From your first WhatsApp message your guide becomes your local fixer for the whole trip: they check your hotel location, book the restaurant that has no English menu, tell you which railway station your train actually uses, and reorganise the day when the weather turns.
Inside the parks the difference is even bigger. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park alone has multiple entrances, internal bus lines, three cableways and the Bailong Elevator. Your guide sequences them so you spend your time at viewpoints, not in queues — and knows the quiet platforms that big groups never reach.
Outside the parks, anything a licensed guide can legally arrange, we arrange: train tickets, luggage storage, SIM cards, pharmacies, a table at the best sour-fish-soup restaurant in town.
How a guided day works
Plan on WhatsApp
Before your trip we agree the route, the tickets you need and where we meet. You always know the plan and the full price in advance.
Meet your guide
Your guide meets you at the hotel lobby, the airport or the station, with tickets and timings already sorted.
Walk the smart route
We enter the right gate at the right time, take the right buses inside the park and adjust live if a queue builds up.
End the day easy
Your guide gets you back to your hotel, helps order dinner and confirms the next day’s plan.
Where we guide
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Yuanjiajie and the Avatar mountains, Tianzi Mountain, Golden Whip Stream, Huangshizhai), Tianmen Mountain and its cableway, the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge, Baofeng Lake, and day trips to Fenghuang Ancient Town and Furong Town. If you want somewhere unusual, ask — if a licensed guide can legally take you there, we will.
Private guide FAQ
Is the price per person?
No — ¥1,000 per day covers your whole group of up to 8 people. A couple pays the same as a family of six.
Can the guide buy park tickets for us?
We help you buy every ticket at the official price through official channels. Chinese park tickets are real-name and ID-linked, so we prepare everything with your passport details in advance and you pay the park directly.
Do you offer multi-day discounts?
The published price is ¥1,000 per day. For longer itineraries, message us on WhatsApp and we will agree the total for your exact plan before you commit.
What if it rains?
Zhangjiajie is often at its most beautiful in mist and light rain. Your guide reshuffles the route on the day — lakes and valleys in rain, high viewpoints when it clears — so no day is wasted.
Do I need the car option instead?
If your hotel is in Wulingyuan and you focus on the forest park, public transport plus a guide is fine. For Tianmen + Glass Bridge days, Fenghuang trips, or travel with kids or seniors, the private car saves hours — see the guide + car option.
